Benefits of Membership
The Tubac Chamber of Commerce promotes tourism to Tubac every day of the year. We work closely with the Arizona Office of Tourism as a Santa Cruz County approved Destination Marketing Organization. Our many efforts include:
- Sponsoring the Tubac Chamber of Commerce website with an average of 20,000 visits per month
- Sponsoring the Tubac Chamber of Commerce Facebook page with over 7,400 followers
- Sponsoring the five-day Tubac Festival of the Arts each February bringing nearly 60,000 visitors to Tubac
- Sponsoring the three-day Tubac Art Walk each November and March bringing nearly 10,000 visitors to Tubac
- Promoting the Tubac Nature Center’s Hawk Watch (March), Bonanza Days (April), Day of the Dead (November), and Luminaria Nights (December) events
- Developing and distributing over 45,000 copies of the Tubac Village Map to merchants, chambers, visitor centers, and hotels
- Distribution of 5,000 Tubac Village maps to the Tucson International Airport’s baggage claim area, rental car area, and private jet area
- Sponsoring the forthcoming 2023-2024 “Destination Tubac-Tumacacori” brochure, which highlights our Historic Village of Tubac, Tumacacori National Historical Park, Tubac Presidio State Historic Park and Museum, Tubac Nature Center, and the Tubac Center of the Arts
- Advertising in the forthcoming 2024 Phoenix Official Travel Guide (150,000 copies plus digital, printed October 2023), which is distributed to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, rental car centers, Maricopa County visitor centers, and Greater Phoenix major shopping areas.
- Advertising in the 2023 Tucson Official Travel Guide (185,000 copies plus digital)
- Advertising in Tucson Guide Spring-Summer and Fall-Winter editions (40,000 copies each season)
- Advertising in the 2023 Tucson Lifestyle Essential Insider’s Guide (30,000 copies), which is distributed to Tucson resorts and hotels
- Work closely with Tucson Guide to develop the Spring-Summer 2023 Tubac Guide; members get a discounted rate
- Advertising in the 2023 Discover Southern Arizona (15,000+ copies), which is distributed to chamber offices, real estate office, hotels in Tucson, and from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon, visitor centers across southern Arizona plus the Tucson and Phoenix airports
- Advertising in the Arizona Daily Star from October to December 2023 (flyers to select zip codes)
- Get out the vote for “USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice – Best Small Town Arts Scene,” which we won in both 2021 and 2022
- Maintaining the flags at the entrance to Tubac with sponsorship provided by The Tubac Historical Society and the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park and Museum
- Maintaining the Tubac sign, and hanging up banners to promote events in the Village
- Working with the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park and Museum on maintaining the Visitor Center
- Directing daily referrals to Chamber Members
- Conducting seasonal intensive print and social media campaigns in Phoenix, Tucson, and major markets
- Publishing approved press releases on our website
- Working with community organizations to preserve the scenic and historic nature of Tubac
- Working with local governmental officials to ensure proper representation for Tubac and its merchants
- Maintenance of the Plaza Restrooms at 18 Will Rogers Lane

Membership also includes:
- Participation in our e-newsletter and information regarding Chamber promotions
- Promoting your business by posting your events to the Chamber’s Event Calendar on our website
- Promoting your business by via Facebook and Instagram
- All voting Chamber members are eligible to advertise on the Tubac Village Map. Advertising space is open to Chamber members and limited and on a first-come, first-served basis
- The name of your business on our 10,000+ Tubac Festival of the Arts maps (Gold Members)
