Detailed Information

The Historic Valle Verde Ranch, constructed in 1936 of adobe in the old hacienda style, sits within walking distance of the village of Tubac and the Tubac Presidio Historic State Park and Museum. A juxtaposition in time, the Ranch was preserved as the Tubac Barrio developed along its three sides. Nestled on six acres bordering the historic Anza Trail on the East, this beautiful ranch offers two well-appointed individual guest units as well as the original adobe house filled with character and remnants of the past. Loved by artists, historians and birders alike, the private four acre mesquite bosque (forest) entices you to sit a spell and take in the sounds and beauty around you. Travel to its edge, and you will be greeted by the historic Anza Trail that runs directly to Tubac or Tumacacori.

The Ranch is recognized by the Tucson Audubon Society as a “cardinal level” premium backyard birding habitat so you’re bound to witness resident and migrating birds, hawks and other Arizona wildlife during your stay.
