2020 Tubac Festival of the Arts
February 5-9, 10 am to 5 pm
Southern Arizona’s longest running art festival, the Tubac Festival of the Arts is a 61-year tradition that draws tens of thousands of visitors each season. The juried event showcases the work of visiting artists from around the country and as far away as Canada. Each year, approximately 200 visiting artists exhibit their works along the village streets, mixed in with the more than 100 shops, fine art galleries and working artist studios. Art offered for sale and enjoyment at booths and in the shops includes paintings, sculpture, giclee prints, pottery, mixed media pieces, jewelry and more!
In addition to the opportunities to see hundreds of artists in one location during the Festival of the Arts, the Village of Tubac also offers visitors several restaurants in which to experience delicious regional cuisine. For more information, see “Things to Do” above and click on “Dining”.
Have you heard about the Javelinas de Tubac exhibit that is currently showing throughout the Village and in Tumacacori, Green Valley and Tucson? Make sure to enjoy these one-of-a-kind “wild javelinas” painted by local Tubac artists while you are at the Festival of the Arts. You can also purchase raffle tickets at the Tubac Center of the Arts booth during the festival to win “Golden Girl” by Kathy Reyes!
