Welcome to Tubac, a historic destination for the arts! Tubac features over 100 eclectic shops and world class galleries situated along meandering streets punctuated by hidden courtyards and sparkling fountains. A full day can easily disappear wandering amongst this wealth of painting, sculpture, ceramics and photography, as well as unique regional fashion, leather, crafts, antiques and jewelry.
Southern Arizona’s longest running art festival, the Tubac Festival of the Arts is a 61-year tradition that draws tens of thousands of visitors each season. In 2020, the Festival will be held Feb. 5-9.
The Tubac Center of the Arts, commanding the main intersection in the village, offers a full range of arts programming and seasonal exhibits that are not to be missed. Several locally owned restaurants and bars offer outstanding fare for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails. Our comfortable B&Bs and luxurious golf resort mean that you have many options to stay another day! Established in 1752 as a Spanish Presidio (fort), Tubac now hosts working artists whose studios surround the former parade grounds. The village remembers this colorful history well at the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park, located in Old Town, where outdoor displays and an excellent museum bring it all to life. No visit to Tubac is complete without a stop at this, Arizona’s First State Park.

61st Festival of the Arts
February 5-9, 2020
Held in the historic art colony of Tubac, the annual Festival of the Arts is Arizona’s longest running arts festival, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each year. The festival runs concurrent with Tucson’s internationally renowned Gem & Mineral Show which brings visitors from around the World. Many Tucson visitors make both the Gem & Mineral show and the Festival of the Arts their destination.
