Western Passport Center Passport Day
October 15, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
The Western Passport Center (WPC) in Tucson is hosting its sixth annual WPC Passport Day, on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. to accept passport applications and provide passport information to U.S. citizens. On Passport Day only, no appointment is needed and the expedite fee will only be charged if the passport is needed within three weeks; all other fees will apply. Each year, the Department of State hosts events such as this through its national passport acceptance and outreach events.
U.S. citizens traveling to and from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry are required to present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.
More information on how to apply for a U.S. passport is available at travel.state.gov. U.S. citizens may also obtain passport information by phone, in English and Spanish, by calling the National Passport Information Center toll-free at 1-877-487-2778.
